Today started with an early chat with Angela and kids. (So Thankful for Gmail Chat) Consalata came at 8:00 to clean and we left at 8:45 to go to the Monday devotional at the mission office.
To me it was so nurturing and sweet. I love to hear their messages. After going to two different ATM’s for money Bruce was brave and drove to this place call the Junction, another big mall. These places look so much like America’s and anything that looks American is very expensive. It was still fun to just shop and look at their shops and Dad was quite patient. Then we went back to the YaYa Center mall so he could get a haircut. He was so impressed because they cut his hair then washed and rinsed it and gave him a head message all for $10.00 plus the tip. He loved it and he got a nice cut. Then we got more groceries, I know that sounds like all we do but the bread does not keep here nor does the milk. We also buy fresh fruits and vegetables. When we find items that are from America we get excited. Today we bought Rice Krispies and more Del Monte peaches in syrup. We came back to the flat and started to prepare our lessons for tomorrow at the Killili Branch. I also have been working on my talk for mom’s funeral, it makes me feel close to her and I am enjoying the memories.
